Bonne-Fête Studio presents their first ever Tableau Vivant:

Inspired by The Lyric Opera of Kansas City’s 2025 production of Cinderella, Bonne-Fête is curating an utterly unique dining experience. Intimate, outlandish, and fairytale-esque, the evening will be designed to bring your enjoyment of the opera to another level. Tableau Vivant, as its name suggests, is all about bringing art to life and immersing yourself in the sensuous. By turning the opera inside out, you will have the rare experience of becoming the subject, rather than the audience. 

With the power of culinary fairy godmothers, we will make it our goal to turn you into a synesthete, but only until midnight! For those at table we will curate an inimitable space and meal where you, the guest, are invited and encouraged to raise your senses into the liminal space and let them intermingle. Perhaps you will experience colors when listening to music, see shapes when smelling certain scents, or perceive tastes when looking at words. 

So allow yourself to imagine. 

What will transforming the opera, Cinderella, into a feast look like? How will it sound, taste, feel, and smell? If Rossini were a wine, which wine would he be? And more importantly, in which glass? 

Intrigued? 

This will be a truly intimate dinner with just ten guests at table in a private dining room allowing for comfort and easeful conversation. The ten tickets will be awarded through a random lottery.

You will be notified three weeks before the Tableau if your name has been pulled and we kindly ask you to purchase your ticket within twenty four hours to guarantee your place.

Ticket price is $300 and will include a 4-hour full dining experience with a cocktail and wine pairings. 

The first Tableau Vivant will be held on the evening of September 13th, with all other information disclosed upon ticket purchase.
